Central Valletta house

It was spacious and location was perfect.

Taxi drivers are confused when locating the address in google map

The apartment is on the edge of Valetta, but as the city is so compact, that actually meant about a 10min walk into the centre. It was perfect for a short stay with five family. Very quiet and good value for the money. I would rent it again.

The toilet seat was a bit wonky and I couldn't see how to tighten it up,

Convenient location, though it is located on a quiet remote part of the street which at night made it feel like something bad could happen and nobody would know to help. Fun old building with lots of space. Clothes washing machine and dryer provided, but no detergent. Drip coffee maker provided, but no filters or coffee provided. (The filters were particularly difficult to find in town, at the third store they finally had them…).

Several things that lead me to confidently believe that this place is definitely having all profit squeezed out of it at the expense of guest comfort. Toilet seat is very loose. Contacted host, he said it was fine. (?) Drip coffee pot filter holder was broken. Luckily I was able to fix it… No coffee filters provided. Most hosts provide a starter coffee setup. Not here. The filters for the drip coffee were very difficult to find at the local stores. No washing machine detergent provided. Most hosts that have laundry offer at least a starter of detergent. But they provided liquid soap in the showers although it was noticeably watered down. Heating unit in bedroom is very loud. Even on lowest fan setting…. So you have to choose between warmth and quiet to sleep. Hallway bathroom shower stall is very small and you will accidentally bump the faucet handle and scald yourself during a shower. Every day. Ask me how I know…. And that shower has filthy buildup at base of doors that really needs to be cleaned. And the bathroom has 3 working low-wattage LED spot lights that make the entire room soooooo dim you can’t hardly see yourself well. Bathrooms are usually the most lit rooms… Microwave dial and button symbols have long since worn off and become illegible, no idea what settings do… The bath towels are well used and past their prime. Most useful for house chores or car washing at this point. Again, just shows profit over comfort… This place has so much potential and with a little bit of effort they could address the issues but that would mean money out of their pocket which likely isn’t going to happen.

No había iluminación ,no funcionaba el split del aire ,no funcionaba la televisión ,había mucha humedad ,las toallas en 5 días no nos las cambiaron (si pagabas suplemento ,si lo hacían …después de pagar más de 1000 euros por 5 noches )

Emplacement idéal au calme et proche des supermarchés, restaurants et boutiques

Les fenêtres donnent sur des cours intérieurs à l exception de celle de la chambre aux lits simples qui est coté rue donc il n y a pas de lumière et c est très très sombre Attention au prix de la taxe touristique qui est demandé après la réservation par l établissement. Elle n est due que pour des adultes et c est 0,5€ par adulte jusqu’à fin juin 26 Nous aurions apprécié au moins une bouteille d eau dans le frigo mais cela n a pas été le cas …
