Traditional Swiss-Flat

The host was amazing. Great location. Value for given the peak season in this part of the world. 5 mins to city center and 5 mins to the station. Definitely Look forward to returning to this property again in winter

Party of 5 - 4 adults and a teen - stayed 3 nights in early June 2024. Apartment could not have been more well-suited for our needs. Short 7 minute walk from Interlaken Ost station, easy even with luggage. Easy check-in, as owner was onsite when we arrived [were in contact before arrival via Booking.com email]. Large clean bedrooms, sitting room, and full kitchen. Beautiful views of course. Quiet neighborhood. Huge Coop market by train station, and fabulous Italian restaurant (Tenne) a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Perfect jumping off spot for the Jungfrau region...Lauterbrunnen a 20 minute train ride away.

We felt the stairs carpeting looked old and worn.

The location was excellent, Interlaken Ost was a few minutes walk away. The kitchen was well stocked so I only needed to buy very few supplies. Parking at the back of the house was an advantage. Interlaken card was useful.

The key box was a bit sticky so it took sometime to get the keys out. Not being able to meet the host for issues was a definite disadvantage. There were no toiletries in the bathroom except toilet paper. I had to buy soap for shower. Cash payment for parking in Swiss Francs was a surprise. I did not carry CHF so left Euros. Also, the unit was up 2 flights of stairs so dragging suitcases up a windy staircase was challenging. This should have been explained in the description. Pillows were thin and the mattresses and towels had seen better days.

Pros: 1. Convenient to train station and the center of Interlaken. 2. Quiet at night 3. Large rooms and adequate living area 4. Adequately heated

Cons: 1. Worn and soiled bed coverings (comforters and blankets) that should have been replaced years ago. 2. Not all pillows had cases and not all beds had sheets. Weird. 3. I was not confident sheets and pillowcases were washed so I had to cover with my travel blanket. 4. Stiff, worn towels - very hard on the face.

Good location near to interlaken OST around 400 meter. Not so far walking to apartment because of beautiful surrounding. Host so friendly, kind hearted and quick respond. Apartment so huge and good because got many facilities. My family and me so happy stay at darniella apartment.
