The location.

When we arrived, the condo was not as clean as it should be. The commons areas including the bathroom and showers were dirty. The bathrooms looked like they were not cleaned from the prior guests. There were no sheets or blankets on the beds. We did find three blankets in a closet but they smelled moldy and one was severely stained. As a result and no alternative options, some of us had to sleep in our clothes on top of the bed. All but one of the towels were stained and we did not feel comfortable using them. Due to cleanliness and lack of fresh supplies, we had to vacate the property and book another hotel 25 minutes away. This was a major inconvenience as we are now not near our other part of our group. Additionally, we did not account for the expense of another hotel. When we tried to contact the owner, their housekeeper did come with sheets and only one new towel (we have 6 guests). No blankets were provided. But when she came, she admitted that she didn’t clean it herself. She had another person clean it who is not familiar with the property. She also blamed us for the mess, as apparently we checked in too early. We were never told our check in was too early. If we were told this, we would have understood and allowed them more time to clean.
