Wisteria Cottages are self catering cottages in a beautiful village location

Very well designed. Very comfortable to stay in for a few days. Beautiful location. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Great facilities to make yourself feel like you are home away from home. Hosts provided lots of useful information such as local shops and take aways. The beds are very comfortable and the cottage was nice and warm. Great bathroom facilities too. Everything was spotless!

A slightly longer mirror would be great - but the mirror there is more than sufficient. Maybe a Smart TV too - however the tele that is there works perfectly!

The location of it is great. everything in the cottage was fine, and there is also just around the corner a pub that serves meals and beer of course. The local shops are five minutes away in the car and if (the post office/shop seems to sell almost everything) enjoy a morning walk before breakfast it takes about 25 minutes (downhill and a lot longer coming back puffing up the hill. We both loved the layout of a self-contained cottage for two, with all its amenities at ground level and will suit most elderly people down to the ground

What I am going to say now has nothing to do with the owners of these cottages and was beyond their control. The position of the cottages leaves them taking the sun from the early morning until it goes down at night. This will not be a problem in a normal British summer but unforunatly we happened to be there when the tempratures rose to 35c so when we returned to the cottage it was like walking into a sauna and although Helen the owner provided us with a large rotating fan to try and cool things down for us but we hardly had a wink of sleep every night during our stay.
