The wave house El Médano

The house is centrally located Most of the time it was quiet. It was clean and bright. Yes, there are no outside windows but the skylight windows provide air circulation. We left the bedroom door open to get fresh air in and slept well. The kitchen is well equipped. Powerful shower, good working WIFI. The roof terrace is great!

A big knife would have been nice to be able to slice bread and other things. If people talk on the street or out on their balcony you can hear everything. The sound is bouncing around and gets louder. So the airplanes are noisier here. (lucky they don't fly all day)

Very very close to beach restaurants and having garage was essential as parking tricky . Box of chocolates on arrival a nice touch

Nice to have some very basic essentials in the kitchen like salt, olive oil, pepper , some milk and coffee .

Everything was perfect. Location really close to everything.

The only fault I couldn’t see the beach from the apartment.

Everything was what I expected, very clean and crisp. Within walking distance of everything we needed and very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped. We would recommend the place and would happily stay there again. As I know El Médano quite well I didn’t need to contact the owners with any questions.

Conditioners in each bedroom, excellent terrace, convenient garage, apartment very very close to the beach.

No particular things. Except that maybe a better kitchen knife could be on hand in the kitchen for food preparation.

Ok, let’s state the positives first: very good location, minutes from beach, restaurants, supermarkets; very spacious roof terrace but it is surrounded by taller buildings; bathroom has a very good shower and was very clean; the washing machine was new as far as we could see and had the quick wash (30 minutes) which is great when you are travelling. Maria provided us with two sets of keys to the house which was very helpful.

Anyone renting the property should be aware that the main bedroom has no external window, and the second bedroom doubles as a kind of living room. It also has no external window. There is air conditioning in both of these rooms. The kitchen and bathroom have windows to the area outside where you can park a car securely. There was a marked use of synthetic air fresheners around the house. If you have children with you, the roof terrace requires adult supervision at all times as the roof over the garage space is Perspex as far as we could see. The front and side walls of the roof terrace have a fence fitted on top of them.
