MEDANO4YOU The Terrace Holiday Home

Fantastic location with a lovely big terrace in a quiet apartment block. 10mins easy walk to the beach and supermarket. Underground secure parking and wonderful sunrise views over the beach. A large TV with OK internet. We love this town so we will be back! The Medano4You team were great and check was easy.

It’s a bit tired and dated. The sofa, the outside furniture and certainly the mattresses in the twin room had seen better days. Luckily the main bedroom beds had new mattresses which made a massive difference. The kitchen equipment is basic and worn, we were there for a month so bought a new chopping board and a few decent mugs. The hob and oven are slow to heat so the kitchen could do with an upgrade. Even a new toaster and kettle would make a difference.

The outside loungers they could do with more comfortable covers. Would have liked a bbq.

Balcony was private, lots of space and nice options for seating outside. Beds were comfortable and fans made available in each room. The complex was very quiet when we were there. Good supply of towels for use. Little basic touches like washing powder, dishwasher tablets, soap being available was helpful. Nice touch with some drinks on arrival too. The lady checking us in was very patient and friendly on arrival, despite us being delayed beyond our anticipated arrival time. Medano 4 U checked in on us via text message but we didn’t have any issues to report. Very clean apartment and lots of effort made to clean the building and pool each day. It’s a 10 minute walk to the town which has lots of nice restaurants to choose from.

Some more glasses on the kitchen would have been nice and darker blinds in one of the bedrooms to match the other room would have been perfect. The couch in our apartment must have been broken as it incredibly uncomfortable to sit on. We chose to sit outside mostly, although when the breeze in the evening picked up it wasn’t always comfortable to do so. Minor issue was also that the oven took forever to heat up. Wasn’t much of an issue for us but might be if guests planned on cooking throughout their stay. The apartment is on a hill on the edge of town so maybe worth noting for some guests that are less mobile and there were no sun beds by the pool. We suspected that this might be due to it getting quite windy outside and for safety reasons. The issues noted though didn’t impact our stay and we would return in a heartbeat. The addition of a bbq would be fantastic if it was allowed.
