Coastal View Apartments

Everything. Initially we were supposed to move to the east the next week. We loved this appartment so much, that after watching what's available on the eat coast, we changed our plans and decided to book it again until the end of our holiday.. * This is a modern apartment in a modern complex. Huge, lots of light, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large balcony, a big living room. The pictures are accurate. It looks fantastic and new. The entrance is secure. There are lots of free parking spaces. * There are soft white towels and extra sheets available. There was extra toilet paper. We had cold water in the fridge, coffee and tea. We were even able to check in 2 hours earlier. * The flat is very well equipped with everything that you might need and not need. * There are special towels for the beach and even a cool box. * The shower has lots of pressure. It was great after a week spent in a traditional Mauritius villa where we struggled to get the right water temperature. * The location is excellent. Few min walk in both directions there are entrances to private beaches. The water is calm, clear and shallow, the colors fantastic. In Mauritius nobody can own a piece of the ocean. Private beach means that the land can be owned only up to the highest tide. During the day the tide is lower than during the night. This always leaves you a piece of sand to put your towel on. You get for free a clean beach with very few people around. In contrast, the public beaches nearby were crowded and with dirty water. We found these private beaches the most beautiful in Mauritius. A real paradise. We still travelled to see other beaches in other areas of the island. Every time we were happy with our decision to stay here one more week. * Winners supermarket is 1 km away. There are restaurants around if you want to dine without going by car. The area is quiet. Although dogs are everywhere in Mauritius, we never met anyone on the streets here at night. We felt safe.

The place is beautiful and clean. The hosts catered for all of our needs right down to shopping bags and also mats that we could use on the beach. The apartment is fully equipped with good quality crockery, utensils, coffee machine, iron, pots and pans. The host waited for us to hand us the keys at 10pm as that is when we landed and also was there as arranged to fetch the keys at 5am when we were leaving. There was also board games provided for the kids. We loved our stay there and still definitely return.
