Seawind Cottage Authentic St.Lucian Accommodation near Plantation Beach

Good place to stay a bit off the track. Shal was helpful and reacted quickly to resolve some water issues.

Not the biggest hurdle,but still you need to fight the mosquitoes. Would put some work to refurbish the bathroom. I'd add clarification that the washing machine is additionally paid.

There is a lovely terrace from which it's possible to see the local fauna and flora. I spent hours watching the dragonflies and humming birds. There was also a small finch who visited and accepted pieces of fruit by hand.

Air con in main bedroom didn't work and the unit in the smaller box room was very noisy. Host charged taxi fare to visit a cash machine in her private car. Cockroaches in the kitchen and shower room. The property is on a very steep hill which means car hire is almost essential, unless you avail yourself of the owners' taxi company.

I loved the location as it was only 5 minutes away from the cricket stadium and about 8 minutes away from Rodney Bay. Also very close to Pigeon Island Beach. The area is very peaceful and safe. I felt extremely comfortable during my stay. The hosts were always available if we had any questions. I would love to stay here again.

The internet was slow at times.

The hosts were very laid back, friendly, and helpful. We were driven to the supermarket by them on our first day there which was super helpful! I also liked all the animals.

The AC wasn't particularly powerful, but aside from that everything was wonderful.

Shal is the most helpful and generous person you will meet on the island! He will go above and beyond for you. He's also very interesting and knowledgeable. The cottage itself is exactly what you would want - very clean and fully equipped. I loved the wee balcony and the fact there are chickens roaming around!!

No outlet in bathroom, kitchen lacked basic supplies such as can opener, peeler, baking sheet

A lovely, very spacious authentic house between Carribbean sea and Atlantic ocean, 20 minutes walking to each beach. Very comfortable rooms and nice restaurants in a nearby village. We enjoyed our stay very much, very peaceful
