Helen Corfu House

Very welcoming host, very clean house, excellent position

The apartment was well designed and spacious. It had a lovely private patio. It was a five minute walk to the nearest bus stop for town. Elena and George were helpful and friendly and made us very welcome.

Beautiful homely unit. Lovely verandah and very useful kitchen with everything you need to make breakfast or easy dinner. Was easy to communicate with the owner.

The bed was a bit hard. No TV.

I loved the property , it felt so homey and I loved the outdoor area too. Very clean and so pretty

A bit close to the airport , so you could hear the planes every time they flew which can be a bit disruptive but apart from that it’s nice

The owner was extremely kind, she had attended us for two hours because our flight was in delay. The position is near the city, so it is very simple going in the city walking

You have clean air not far away from the madness in the Corfu town and you can sit outside for a glass of wine in the evening. If you want to go to any beach in Corfu you need to rent a car. The house has free parking inside if come with a car ot rent one. Supermakets are within 10 minutes range walking distance and the major attractions just 20 minutes away.

The downside to Helen’s house was the slow wireless internet connection and the mattress was really hard and not so confortable. One thing you should consider when booking this house is the fact that airplanes take-off route is just above the house and the noise can be disturbing (not the host’s fault). During the night there are not so many planes.
