Corfu Old Town Gregory

A very nice, neat and cozy place to stay! In the very center of Corfu downtown. We arrived 1 day later than expected due to the flight cancelation and the further flight delays, deep in the night, but Loukia welcomed us despite all these troubles. We had welcome cookies, lemonade and beer waiting hor us in the fridge. The apartment is small, but very fresh and clean, with all the necessary equipment inside. A great plus - air conditioner! We felt like home. Thank you, Loukia!

Well equipped apartment in a great location

Location is excellent and right in the Old Town. Easy to walk around and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment is in great condition and has most amenities you need. It can be noisy at night as it is in a lively area but it is still a great place to be. I appreciated the host leaving biscuits, some coffee and some drinks which were well welcomed. The host is great. Highly recommend staying here.

Only 2 towels were provided which was not enough considering that I stayed for 6 days. Maybe having some more coffee capsules and some milk as it is hard to look for them if you are new to the area.

The stay was excellent, the apartment well equipped. Very well soundproofed windows, you couldn't hear anything from outside, even though it was a street full by tourists and full of terraces. We slept very well and it was quiet. We used for sleeping both the bedroom and the living room (kitchen) with the couch that has a bed mattress, very comfortable. We used the kitchen, which had all the necessary dishes for cooking quick dishes, a large refrigerator. The air conditioning was very useful. There is air conditioning in the living room (kitchen), there is no air conditioning in the bedroom (as a building in the old center, the architecture does not allow it). The temperature can cool down very easily if the door to the bedroom is open. It is less pleasant if you use both the bedroom and the sofa, to sleep separately, because from time to time you need to leave the door to the bedroom open. We managed and everything was ok. The host was very kind and welcomed us at 2 in the morning, without extra costs (our plane was delayed). Also, an important thing was that she allowed us to do a late check-out, no extra costs, having the plane late in the evening. Believe me, outside at 38 degrees in the shade, very hot, it was extraordinary that we were allowed to stay until late that day! It was a beautiful experience and we were satisfied.
