Lovely setting with tremendous views. Surrounding area very pleasant, with good access to shops and places of interest, etc within 15 minutes. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped. Pleasant greeting by Simon.

The property is starting to show its age and could do with a bit of a refresh, e.g. the kitchen drawers could use being eased on their runners or similar, as stiff to open with the weight of the crockery etc. The bed is a small double, which we hadn't picked up in the booking info (so our own fault, but be aware). The shower / wet room really is wet! If you follow a partner in after a shower, even if squeegied, you get wet feet/socks as the water lies in the grout! There is nowhere to put a washbag, and with just hooks on back of door for towels, they are still damp the next day. Rural area means Internet connection is patchy. TV set up through a box is bit ancient, with not great sound such that struggled to hear some channels (e.g. Channel 4 news) from opposite side of room where sofa is. Some occasional noise from owner's business(?) below the apartment, with early (for a holiday place) deliveries and coming/goings. Comparing to the two other properties we stayed in on the same trip, this had a more basic feel (for similar costs per night), a little offset by the great views....when it wasn't raining (not Simon & Jo's fault!!)

Lovely apartment with fantastic views, great place to get away from it all! The barn was well-equipped and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. There is a huge Co-op supermarket in nearby Churchstoke, so grocery shopping was easy; it also has a launderette. There are plenty of good walks in the area - we visited Roundton Hill, Mitchell's Fold circle and the Stiperstones amongst others.

There was no hand soap on arrival, so we bought some for the next guest. You definitely need a car for this property, A wooden duckboard in the wet room might be helpful when trying to use the sink after someone has showered. Also, I'd have loved a washing machine, but do understand that space is an issue.

Lovely location, comfortable and peaceful. We loved the view .

Furniture could be improved , small sofa , a lamp in the living space would be nice, as really bright spotlights are not relaxing . Small touches are missing but a nice place for a few days . There were very uncomfortable dining chairs , and a double bed, both small for my talll husband .

Relatively modern and well decorated with spacious lounge/dining area. Wonderful views and quiet location. Easy parking.

The double bed was a bit smaller than we are used to and the bathroom lacks anywhere for toiletries.
