Merle is a super host. She met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment and gave us full instructions on how to use appliances and were things are located. Parking is very good and easy to access. The apartment has its own private access. The WiFi is fast enough and very reliable. Water pressure and hot water are perfect. The apartment is more than large enough for two people and lovely and quiet and very comfortable. The bed is a full king sized bed with an excellent mattress. Loved the welcome bottle of Cava on arrival. The kitchen is functional and very well equipped. The apartment is located within walking distance of the fort and lots of restaurants but we tended to drive as my wife hurt her knee recently. Parking in town is easy to find and mostly free.

My wife has some differences of opinion than me on this so obviously it is just a matter of taste. The bathroom is a bit dated and the shower screen is in need of repair (the shower is a bit small for my fat body). There is no air conditioning but we were given a fan however the weather was rather cool during our stay so it didn't become an issue. Personally, I dislike individual duvets on a king bed but they seem to be the norm in Scandic or nearby countries. I would also classify the apartment as a studio rather than a one bedroom apartment but again that is just for reference. It is hard to actually dislike anything in this place so in summary.... would we stay here again if we ever came back to Kuressaare? Definitely, as this place would be hard to beat.
