Penthouse La Azohia Beach

We could find a water cooker, luckily we could boil the water on the stove and in the microwave

The pictures of the property seemed amazing, whoever took them deserves an Oscar, in reality the property looks nothing like the pictures, it is a total scam

Our stay has been a total disappointment, we left a day earlier because we could not stand it anymore. The place was filthy and dirty, no proper cleaning was done at all, the maintenance is non existent, we had to buy supplies and clean ourselves. The guy that welcomed us is a neighbor, not the owner, and he did not even want to come in the apartment the day we arrived, probably because he knew it was a shit hole. The sheets and towels were disgusting, all appliances were dirty or not working, the wc had rests of feces from previous guests, the smell was insufferable. Microwave and fridge had rest of food stains. There was some brown liquid running down the wall in the living room where the AC is. We had health concerns and could not use the BBQ nor the jacuzzi. The rugs are full of dust and stains, and we had to cover the sofa with sheets. It is a robbery what we were charged per night considering the terrible condition of the apartment. I contacted the owner and shared all this, and he did not offer any type of compensation and has mostly ignored my texts. I wish I could’ve uploaded more pictures, but it only allows 4

Perfect location, comfortable apartment in a beautiful part of Spain.

Nothing. Apartment was not clean, we had to buy cleaning materials and spent a day making it liveable. Some appliances were not working, others not available. Exterior was covered in red dust and had to hose it down and clean furniture. Wardrobes, cupboards and drawers were full of owner's stuff so no place for our clothes etc. Beds were not made and had to sort through pile of linen and towels to find ones that fit etc. BBQ was filthy and not fit to be used. Everything. Apartment is not a penthouse it is a second story apt with a solarium. There were two restaurants and a Spar in walking distance. The photos and description are not accurate and the reality is much worse. We were booked for 18 days and left after 10 days as it was so depressing and horrible. It spoiled our holiday. Apt was well over priced and had obviously been neglected. Booking.com should be ashamed to have such a property on their books. I am not certain I will ever book with Booking.com again

This apartment (penthouse) was amazing, very spacious, clean, and close to restaurants.

The jacuzzi was great and the full sunny day aided to the enjoyment. The Apartment was nice with an amazing top deck.

location and facilities

The apartment was quiet, comfortable and the air conditioning was good. Great location, easily within walking distance and/or a short drive from many places; including bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, beaches, historic sites, etc. Friendly neighbours and easy free parking outside the building. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere in La Azohia.

Disappointed the bbq was not clean, this did not matter too much because the oven worked well.
