John, the host, is very nice and would answer any questions we had pretty quickly. He also let us check in early without issue. The place is close to the train station which is just around 10 minutes away from center, so getting into town is really easy. Cheap place to stay if you're visiting Amsterdam for a day or two

The place itself is not amazing. Nothing wrong with the area, bit there is really only the bare minimum provided. There are beds, a little storage space for clothes, a kitchen and one bathroom. The beds are uncomfortable, there's only one bedsheet per bed. The shower has no water pressure and fitting on the toilet is impossible for any adult. The kitchen is okay, but the plates and cutlery did not look clean when we got there. If you're staying more than a day or two, I cannot recommend this place as it's not very comfortable.

Seven friends had a great stay in this house for two nights over the weekend. Everyone slept very well and it was nice and warm and the shower worked well. The mattress was comfortable and carpet upstairs was newly fitted and clean. The shops nearby were good and it’s conveniently close to Moston Station. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay here and it was cheaper than a lot of other options, so we don’t regret choosing this accommodation.

It is probably less than basic, it lacked loads of things that we consider the basic essentials. There were only four towels, no bathmat or hand towel in the bathroom. There were only three mugs, no salt/pepper/oil and no tea towels for drying hands or drying dishes and a lot of the cooking equipment was dirty and needed washing before use. The bedding for people who were not on beds also didn’t have any covers. So that was disappointing.
