Perfect place to stay on your trip in south Tuscany. So cozy, so clean, extremely comfortable and the location is absolutely wonderful. The Private parking spot in a closed garage is a huge bonus. You definately can tell the apartment is run by an open minded, motivated owner. Thank you, Chiara for your warm hospitality and great recommendations for places to visit in the area. I really hope to visit this beautiful place again.

Chiara is a terrific host/owner! Not only did she make sure that everything was in order after a stormy night, she was also very enthusisatic in sharing her knowledge of Montelcino and more of the wine makers in the area. We look forward to staying there again!

This is not a criticism of the facility, but for those with difficulties getting about by foot, the location of the apartment would be a real challenge

Otello Guest House is a charming, thoughtfully-designed apartment in the heart of Montalcino. The unit feels very homey, yet incredibly clean. It is very well-located for those who want to walk around town and the attached enclosed garage is a godsend in those narrow Italian streets. As nice and convenient as the guest house is, it's the sweet host, Chiara, that made our stay extraordinary. We came with a very specific purpose during Sagra del Tordo and she went above and beyond to show us an authentic side of the festival. From helping us to arrange special dinner tickets (and hand-delivering them to our door) to meeting up with us at various events, Chiara was ever-present, friendly, and helpful, without being overbearing. We began communicating with her many months prior to our stay and it was such a comfort to know she was always a message away. We would recommend Otello Guest House to anyone staying in Montalcino and hope to return again someday!

We had a great stay! We let our young daughters sleep in the bedroom so my husband and I could work at the table late into the night, and we found ourselves wishing we'd put the smaller guests on the sofa-bed instead - but that was on us. If you're traveling with a family, we'd suggest putting the adults in the proper bedroom.

Everything. The location is perfect, the apartment is beautiful, quiet and extremely well equipped. There is really everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. The shower has a very good pressure. Chiara (the owner) is a pearl. She gave us a lot of good recommendations and was extremely helpful when I had a problem with my car. A place to come back to!

Super location, clean apartment and friendly and welcoming owner!

Great location in town with garage for car. We went to 4 wineries for tasting during the days this is a great location for restaurants and grocery stores. Laundromat was also very close. Host was very responsive to any inquires. We used GPS to drive to the apartment do not use! Turns are very tight with small car. Use her supplied video to apartment!

Chiara was charming and so helpful .The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable.It was extremely convenient for enjoying Montalcino .Having the garage was a bonus .

The weather in Montalcino which was awful .Take very warm clothes in May . Cold ,windy and wet .
