The house was newly furnished to a high standard. Quiet area, close to the centre of town

We had a fantastic stay in this house. It was immaculately clean on arrival, with all the walls freshly painted and spotless, and lovely tiled floors throughout. The kitchen was very well stocked and even had tea and coffee provided, which was a huge help as we had forgotten to bring any. The stairs are steep and narrow, which seems to be the style of the houses in this area (my son lives nearby and his are the same). Both myself and my partner are disabled and managed fine by taking our time, but I’d say families with very young children should just be cautious. The living room had a smart TV and a fan, which was perfect given the warm weather. Bedrooms were exactly as pictured—clean, cosy, and very comfortable. The house was also stocked with plenty of useful extras such as toilet paper, condiments, tea/coffee, washing powder and softener, which made things really convenient. We originally booked a hotel just for myself and my partner, but this house worked out better value as my nephew joined us and my son stayed over one night too. It meant we could all be together with plenty of space for everyone, which was lovely. Scott, the host, was excellent—very responsive, helpful, and even offered us an early check-in to accommodate my disability (although in the end we didn’t need it). We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay and would happily book again when visiting my son.

The stairs are steep but that’s not the host issue as he didn’t design the property just need to use handrail provided

The house was beautiful really clean and comfortable the host was great and very helpful i would highly recommend this place to others. We were over in England for a funeral and it was great to have a wee home from home and it had everything we needed. Thank you

The only comment I would make is that the stairs are steep with a narrow tread. Absolutely fine for us but would be tricky if anyone had mobility issues

Smart, really well presented, modern, stylish. Underfloor heating was fab. 😁😁 Very comfortable beds and sofas. Thank you for having a washing machine so we could return home with clean clothes.

Quite steep stairs. Fine for us, might be tricky for some. Bathroom on ground floor ( again, didn’t bother us).

The property was presented beautifully. Definitely way better than getting a hotel or bed and breakfast. Like home from home. Everything you need is in the property from cooking utensils and dinner plates to bath towels and linen. The property is located a 10 minute walk away from all the pubs and restaurants you could need. The House was very clean and tidy and the beds were really comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again for my next visit. The property owner was helpful and friendly and answered any questions I had. Definitely recommend
