Cosy Lakeview Apartment

Spektakularny widok.

Apartament jest bardzo stary. Urządzenia w kuchni mają po 50+ lat. Lodówka chyba więcej. Łazienka pamięta pewnie lata 50-te. Prysznic ledwo mieści człowieka. Jest też w łazience bardzo zimno, a heater na sznurek jest dziwny. Okna nieszczelne. Taras nieuporządkowany.

The facilities are quite good. We cooked in the kitchen and had good meals. There are also washing machine and dryer. The lake view is also quite nice.

Not what you expect by the description. Not clean, not well maintained and very dated. But the place was not well cleaned and not maintained. There was no outside table, only 3 chairs left. It is very noisy! Can’t sleep if the bathroom vent is on or someone using the water.

Amazing views.

The beds were comfortable. The view was nice. You can't really rely on the review scores - if you delve into the comments you can see that people have made comments about aspects of the property and advertising of such but unfortunately this was not accurately portrayed in the review 'scores'. Lesson learned - look at the actual reviews closely and don't rely on the 'number' people attribute to the property. Sure the view is great but that does not make up for the poor condition and safety issues evident at the property. This place needs some major work on it, otherwise don't expect people to pay premium prices for what is essentially a shabby, unsafe place - if you do take children here, be very careful.

An email 5 days out from our booking to advise of the poor accessibility and the fact the property is a bit old on the outside - I could cancel if I wanted. That information should have been available before I booked or immediately after booking - not 5 days before we were due to stay there - especially given we couldn't have found alternatively accommodation that close to our travel dates. The property is run down. The decking is rotting and in very bad condition. Maintenance is not a priority, safety is also not a priority. The can see how bad the deck is, they should fix it! My child took a step onto the deck and a board collapsed as she stepped on to it, causing her to hurt her knee and break the screen saver on her new phone. We incurred costs to replace her phone screen saver and Physio treatment. This is unacceptable. I am disgusted at the state of the property, there appears to be absolutely no care of the property and it shows in the shabby dangerous exterior, unkempt garden and car park, the rotting and loose decking boards, the damp smell inside, and the dirty smell emanating from the furniture/carpet. The place could do with a deep clean (furnishings/carpet.kitchen). There is a general smell of dampness. Overall this place is in the state it is because it is not maintained or cared for. This place is dangerous and could cause serious injury. Accessibility is not great so would not recommend to anyone with physical limitations. The cleaning could be better - the bath had a pubic hair in it - the shower is slippery and there's no 'safety mat' in it. Photos showing the 'state' of the place will be uploaded. Hopefully the owners do the right thing and offer to reimburse the cost of replacement screen saver and the physio needed to treat the injury my child suffered because of the poor/ lack of maintenance on their property.

The view is amazing. Everything you need is there. Really appreciate having milk in the fridge.

Not really walking distance to the Queenstown shops. While the distance is not great i.e. just over 2kms, due to the topography of Queenstown it would be a hard hike back to the apartment. I guess this is the price you pay for the view.
