"A night in a noisy sauna."

The collection of wonderful and strange things form Africa.

First off all there was no air conditioner. In the Italian August heat, that is abuse. Secondly, there was no wi-fi. In 2022 is like not having shoes in Antarctica. No excuse. Thirdly, the room was on the road side, the constant noise from the cars passing was very disrupting

It’s opposite a big Supermarket so no issues with food and drink. Neighbours were friendly. Bus to and from Pisa stops outside. Washing machine was good.

Melting hot inside and even though there are two AC units there, neither works. Two fans running on full power and still 31c inside. Sweating constantly. Shower doors are terrible. They don’t sit properly on the runners and we couldn’t get them back on. Kitchen surfaces were clean but underneath was gross. Constant noise from a main road literally outside the windows. Sleep is difficult. The mattress is so old it has a deep hollow on one side….. My side of course!
