The location was great and still very private.

There was dust all over the walls and mold growing in the bathroom causing my allergies to act up. My husband and I got in the hot tub and the following morning woke up with painful red rashes all over.

I liked being close to Gatlinburg strip, and the trolley station was a short walk away. You're also not hiking too far up the steep driveway after taking the trolley. The cabin itself was cozy enough.

I'm 100% being honest and NOT trying to be rude. This feels like some old couple's retirement passive income plan where it's overpriced and outdated from 30+ years ago. It's cheaply fixed up with repairs that are noticeably bad. The decorating wasn't important, what was important was the massive crack in the bathtub that wouldn't allow us to shower without leaking a bunch of water, due to safety concerns. It was CLEARLY there for some time, ignored, and the floor beneath is very soft. Even right next to the tub is soft, and the linoleum flooring is lifting up, because when you walk on the floor, you hear the tacky glue resticking. The molding by the tub is covering up the damage to the tub area, and has black mold, too. To play it safe, we had to take baths in the jacuzzi tub instead. More of an annoyance, for sure. The toilet seat is very loose, sliding around. Once discovered it's easily avoidable, but you'd think cleaning staff or property management would address this. Immediately lifting the lid it's extremely loose, so not done by us. The soap dispenser was nearly empty so we ran to the store to buy our own hand soap. Not a big deal, but come on. Don't be cheap. None of the wall outlets hold a charger so phones and laptop had to be charged in the kitchen. night stand lamp plugs also fall out. The main area light cover is missing, so very bright in the middle of the room, again, not a big deal, but clearly in disrepair. Same with smoke detectors, one missing and the other we didn't see the blinking light, so assuming the battery is dead. We didn't use the hot tub. There's no filter installed and no chemicals in the dispenser, so the debris floated around without the filter and I didn't want to sit in untreated water from (possibly) others. Finally, I felt a lack of privacy from the broken front door blinds missing. It made adult time awkward. I'll add some photos for everything noted above.

Furniture was super comfy We didn’t know it took 1 hour for every 10 degrees for the hot tub to warm up so we ended up waiting till 1am to get in lol. The hot water tank is VERY small because we got the jet tub inside to fill up not even a quarter of the way with both of us in it and the hot water was completely gone. That was really disappointing. We ended up boiling water and dumping it in a good few handfuls of times. When we arrived there was this damp spot on the floor of the left side of the bed , we didn’t think much of it until we had the doors closed for a bit and it started to smell in there. We left for a bit and I thought I was just crazy smelling it. We came back and it smelled like strong mold/musty/baby diapers/throw up. It drove me crazy trying to find where the smell was coming from because I KNEW it wasn’t us. I sniffed around and found it coming from the still damp spot on the floor. So we dealt with it thinking it’d dry and go away the next day but it did indeed not. My partner said maybe it’s a mold issue or something ? I don’t know but it was stinky and I hope yall look into it and fix it. I don’t want it ruining the beautiful cabin ◡̈

The cabin was easy to locate. Great position, not crowded. Cabin was clean.

We cannot say we disliked anything.
