Dreams of Holiday. Apartment with Pool

Nice apartment, a short walk from the lovely bay & lovely restaurants of Marsalforn.

The block of apartments are being refurbished & extended. The entire block is covered with scaffolding - making the balcony dusty & unusable - & a tower crane sits in the middle of the road 30 metres from the entrance. Essentially this is a building site. The view from the lovely swimming pool in one direction is as nice as advertised. In the opposite direction, the still being built additional rooms are served by the crane which at times manoeuvred over us while we sat by the pool. The apartment is on the 3 rd floor. A neighbour told us the lift hasn’t worked since November, so luggage had to be carried up & down 6 flights of stairs. None of this is in the control of the owner, but it would have been fair to make it known pre booking. We were in contact with the owner who quickly provided toiletries that were initially absent. However when I enquired about on site parking the original reply was that I could pay €8 per day for it. When queried it was corrected to being free. Additionally we were asked to leave €36 for Eco Tax, when it should have been €12 as the rate doesn’t increase until 1/7. This is a nice apartment, but let down by the works going on around & within it.

The apartment was clean and tidy.

Building work was going on at the accommodation. We couldn't sit out on the balcony because of the noise and dirt, plus there was scaffolding all the way across the front of the building and our balcony. There is a notice on site saying the work has been going on since 1st May 2025, so why weren't we advised off this? The apartment is on the 3rd floor and the lift wasn't working. We were told by the cleaning staff that the lifts haven't been working since the building work started. So to get to the apartment it's 54 steps. Now im 72 and my wife is 75 and has some walking difficulties, so imagine taking 2 x 20kg suitcases up those stairs. We went out usually 3 times each day so that was over 300 steps every day. To get to the pool you again have to go out 52 steps, exhausting! No mention of building work, lift not working or number of steps to the pool in the description on booking. What a disgrace! I didn't expect to be spending my holiday on a building site.

The apartment was clean, modern, and in a good location. The only issue was that reconstruction work was being carried out on the building, so the balcony wasn’t very clean. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

Standard i lokalizacja pierwsza klasa. Super miejscówka i bardzo dobre wyposażenie i godne polecenia miejsce na przyjazdy na Gozo. Następnym razem tez chętnie zarezerwował bym ale?

Słaba komunikacja z osobą odpowiedzialna za udogodnienia i proste informacje. Brak sprawnej windy przy 3 piętrze to duży problem przy dużych walizkach. Nie jestem strongmanem😱😱 Awaria zgłoszona ale widocznie przez ekipy budowlane pewnie nie chcieli właczyć tej windy. Brakło wody zaraz po przyjeździe i niestety brak informacji i możliwisci uzyskania jej od osoby odpowiedzialnej za kontakt. Slowe dwie duże wtopy psują cały obraz miejsca które i tak oceniam pozytywnie😊

Un apartament cu 3 camere si 2 bai, bucatarie open space living , curatenia acceptabila.

Apartament la etajul 3 , liftul nu functiona, in exterior se lucra la refacerea fatadei , nu existau papuci de casa,

Not the owner’s fault however just note that the lift is not working so if you have luggage you need to go up 3 flights of stairs and there is construction still going on the facade therefore the balcony is obstructed.

Matratze unbequem Kein Duschvorleger Keine Schüsseln in der Küche Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster nur eine Türe mit Schlüssel wo defekt war. Habe dir Vermieterin darauf hingewiesen jedoch konnte sie da nicht weiterhelfen da anscheinend die Handwerker erst 10 Tage später Zeit haben.
