Carnegie Library: Austen Apartment 2 Bedroom

A well equipped, quirky property with the added bonus of outside space.

Really well laid out. Everything that you could want. Close to the train station.

My mum is short and she couldn’t reach some of the crockery as it was up high. Maybe a small fold away step (there might have been one but we didn’t look to be fair). This is a very minor point. We lived this place and would highly recommend.

Perfect for our stay as so close to our friends. Beautifully presented, all the mod cons to make our stay enjoyable. Huge empire bed in bedroom 1. We loved everything.

1 very little niggle with the tv which I think is maybe the remote control. I will contact the owner directly so she can try to sort. Possible replacement of the remote control.. I’m sure this will be sorted quickly given the quality of this accommodation.

Very easy. Clear instructions

Good communication from host on how to enter the building, where it was etc. Well thought out and everything felt pretty new and above all clean.

Need to have blackout curtains in both bedrooms

Parking space was unclear and when I parked in what I thought was the right place I received a note on the windscreen telling me off for parking in the “wrong” space

Location was excellent for where I was going, property is absolutely spot on, a very spacious property and everything I needed for my stay.

There was nothing to not like.

This is a super little apartment. really well appointed with lots of nice features. Beds, TV, seating bathroom all excellent.

Street parking not ideal, but easy to find a spot.
