Location was ok

First, I want to say we travel a lot in Europe and lived there 14 years, so we are use to the accommodations and have realistic expectations. We have also been in Montalcino more than 25 times. This place has problems. Both Bathroom showers and sinks would not drain and were clogged. There was mildew and mold in the shower grout. Standing in nasty water in the shower because it would not drain and it wasn’t cleaned properly. The sinks would not drain either and water would stand. On arrival, It took almost an hour to get the code after we had already set up the arrival time. We were supposed to have a parking pass for one of the public parking lots, but there wasn’t any in the apt. Owner says I’ll bring them tomorrow like we are on his schedule meanwhile I’m either feeding the meter or my rental car gets towed or a ticket. Stay away from this place if you travel to Montalcino. We left two days early due to several issues and the owner only offered 1 night compensation and we only asked for the two nights back. Also, don’t let that balcony picture fool you. There is no view. Check the angle. Good luck.

Had an amazing week in the «house» and Montalcino. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay!
