La Palma Villas

I had difficulty identifying what I liked - reason being that the overall feeling was a misleading advert of see view and beach front. Only a small piece of sea is visible from a small corner on the balcony. Secondly is the unit advertised as a two bedroom unit. The door to the second room was locked. Although we were only two people, we do not share a bedroom. This was very disappointing. The owner also informed that they do not supply towels. I told him that we are on holiday and do not travel with towels. He then supplied me with two bath towels which did not have a fresh smell.

This property needs urgent deep cleaning and some upgrading. This must have been neglected for a long time now!! The freezer part of the refridgerator is PACKED with blocks of ice. The glass of the sliding doors needs urgent cleaning. Being near the sea as a previous excuse for the dirty glass, is not true. I also owe a property right on the sea - it takes more than a month to look the way it looked! The braai cannot be used - it is extremely dirty. Mould in the shower.

The fact there was a washing machine, and security guards walking around during the day as well as in the night. We felt safe.

The fact that you can only see the sea a bit and only if you stand on the corner of the railing! We expected a whole beachfront.
