Beach View Apartments

Location was amazing, kitchen well equipped, bed was comfy, toys for the kids and nice to be greeted with scones and milk.

Taps in bathroom were a bit stiff sometimes

Love this apartment it has literally everything you need in there from cooking implements, pots/pans, dishwasher, washing machine, highchair, playstation 3 and games, cds, towels (hand/bath and tea towels), plenty of coat hangers and even a vacuum i could go on but i wont, it is so comfortable and welcoming. When we arrived the owner had left some milk, scones, jam and clotted cream, there was already tea, coffee and sugar there. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the beach, the children's playground is even less of a walk, the local pub is over the road, the entrance and outside area is on the otherside of the pub, so I would imagine you wouldn't hear to much noise from it, the local shop which is well stocked was a 5 minute walk. You also have 1 parking space allocated to the apartment which is a massive bonus especially summertime. There is a lovely little garden with the apartment. I would recommend this apartment, we will certainly look at booking this apartment again if we want to stay in this area and the bonus is it is dog friendly. Please note there are approx 6 steps down the the apartment.

There was nothing we didn't like in this apartment, if I was to name something, it would be the height of the fence in the garden if you have got kids/dog. The garden is raised from the road by way of a wall which brings it level with the garden then there is a low fence to keep kids and dogs in. We were ok as we had a 10 year old staffy with arthritis with us so it wasn't a problem, we just kept an eye on him.

Incredible location, 2 mins walk to the beach, with on site parking. Welcome gift and direct comms with host to make sure we felt welcome. A great place to stay for a week or so.

It was very well equipped and within a few minutes walk of the beach. The owners were very helpful and responsive.

Excellent location close to the beach. Very clean with welcome plate of scones. The property had everything we needed for cooking and the starter pack of cleaning items was very handy. Great to have the PlayStation for entertainment in the evenings, our family particularly enjoyed the Buzz quiz! The Blue bar is great for watching the sunset over the beach and the Unicorn does a good Sunday lunch. General store and fish and chip shop a short walk away.

We couldn't get the outside tap/shower head to work but this had no effect on the enjoyment of our stay.

Love the location to the beach, the kitchen is really well resourced and flat is really clean. We really enjoyed our stay again this year.

The steps leading down to the flat could do with a handrail. Tv channels are a little sparse and curtains are really light in the mornings.

The musty smell was constantly felt in the apartment , the ceiling leaked to the point that the water was dripping , there was no internet access for the entire stay

loved the space, cleanliness, well appointed kitchen, communication with owners and location.

being retired couple found steps down to property difficult - no handrail and uneven height of steps making it disconcerting to use. sofa ok but only one of us could use footstool to stretch out. Being old, both found bed too hard. shower functional but too trickely to stand underneath so had to hand hold. TV kept losing signal so ended up watching on iPad using bbc iplayer which couldn’t access on tv.
