The Loft at Venga

Cosy apartment, well equipped and convenient location. I was travelling on business and it was a welcome change from staying in “faceless” hotels. Jill, who greeted me couldn’t have been more friendly and responsive to any questions.

nothing really to dislike

The loft is a lovely accomodation with everything you need. Very clean and spacious. We were using the loft as a stop over to continue to st I'ves the next day so cannot say about location or surroundings. We were going to be very late coming in but that was not a problem I had spoken to the owner who was more than happy to accommodate and help.

The welcome pack of teas and coffees etc did not appear to be replenished and we feel we ended up with the previous renters left overs. It does boast free parking however until it is booked the free parking is actually in a public carpark about 500 metres from the property through some shops as we are disabled this was a problem for carrying bags etc.

The beds were unbelievably comfortable

Just a cloth in the kitchen for spills and a utensil to wash the dishes

No hairdryer but forgot to tell host since it looked as though might have gone missing.

Deceptively spacious apartment and lots of character. Not only do you get a warm welcome from the owners you also get the same great reception at their tapas bar below.

Initially I wasn’t comfortable about the off site parking but in reality it wasn’t an issue. I l could imagine the lack of any living area to watch tv as a family might annoy some guests as a bit strange to have to sit in the main bedroom. Definitely think the kitchen would benefit from a tv as the main hub and such a welcoming room. I’d have spent most of my time there if so!
