Design apartments in the heart of Reykjavik

Spacious apartment in a great location. It was nice being in the center of the city with many attractions, shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

The restaurant downstairs played loud obnoxious music that made the floor vibrate.

Fantastic location and located next to available street parking

The apartment gets a little bit noisy since it’s on the first level so you can hear music from the restaurant below as well as people walking past the building on the street

The apartment was absolutely beautiful. The owner obviously has great style and everything design wise was gorgeous. The location was great, the beds were comfy and the kitchen facilities were perfect for what we needed.

The cost of the property was expensive in comparison to other apartments we have stayed in Reykjavík. If was of course beautiful however the little touches you expect in that price bracket were missing for example there was no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom only body wash. The drains in the property were awful. The smell was quite overpowering from the bathroom or potentially the property downstairs? (It was not the slight sulphur smell Iceland has, definitely drains). The music from neighbouring venues was a lot. Our small child didn’t get to sleep until very late due to the bass even with the windows closed. I tried contacting the hosts/owner however didn’t receive a response. It’s worth noting that the property is up two flights of steep steps. It wasn’t an issue for us however I know this would be prohibitive for others.

這裡是由百年木造房子重新裝潢的，因此可以很清楚聽到樓上的人在木頭地板上走路的聲音。另外，浴室有個下水道的味道，開窗通風依然散不掉。可以理解這些是老屋改建可能會有的問題，介意聲響和味道的人可能需要留意。

Very central location in the heart of Reykjavik, spacious apartment, nicely decorated.

There was no microwave or washing machine but that was not a big issue for us.
