Grand Harbour Apartments

Great loccation in Valletta. Nice walking area max 15 min of the city centre. Very clean and helfull staff.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The best feature was that is was very near the city centre.

The shower room needs renovation. I would advise adding an electric socket in the bathroom. We didn't know that we needed an adaptor for Malta. The apartment Manager should inform guests of this before they arrive.

Bathroom shower was not great mołd on the ceiłing Peopłe noisy in the building and conztruction noise outside No lights under the kitchen cabinet

The check in on apartment was very simple. All instructions were given by message. Very easy to understand and open the door from the building.

The bathroom is very small and there was no hot water in the shower. As it was very hot it didn't hurt, but in winter I don't think it's possible to take a shower with cold water.

Made our own breakfast. Location great for bus terminal.

Air Con was not working properly. Could not find a clothes rack in the apartment.

The location wasn't too bad, it was about a 10-15 min walk down to the ferry terminals and a short cab ride to central Valletta.

Owner/Management were not present, all interactions were done online. He was very dismissive and not interested in helping in the slightest. The toilet seat was broken, the air conditioner couldn't be switched on... even though there was a heatwave and our cries for help to the owner were ignored. The door to the patio was broken, therefore it remained unlocked, so it was not very secure. The furniture was very average, cheap mix matched furniture, blistered top on dining table. There were no instructions on how to use the TV, air con, etc. You weren't allowed to keep the fans or air conditioner (which was only in one room and we couldn't get to work) on when you went out, or you would be charged, therefore you couldn't keep the place cool in 40 degree celcius and came back to an oven every day. The paths outside the apartment were in terrible condition and a trip hazard, we nearly turned our ankles in the ditches and broken, crumbling paths everyday. Trying to get suitcases over them was a nightmare. The Kitchen was TINY, if you are a bigger person you can't fit in the little alcove that's called a ktchen, the sponge that was left on the sink was filthy, so very unsanitary. There's nowhere to sit and watch TV when the single bed is in use. The bathroom was Tiny, you could barely move in it, there was nowhere to hang your bath towel or hand towel, no fan.... and of course, the matter of the broken toilet seat. There was a huge commercial Exit sign above the single bed which lit up the room in a green glow at night. Clearly our apartments photos did not appear on their booking site.
