Two Bedroom Manchester Ancoats Apartment with Private Entrance

Location good two double rooms small kitchen and bathroom, clean

Very basic, can be noisy due to location , needs more kitchen utensils and oven tray

The flat was clean and tidy and there was enough of everything for our stay including toilet rolls! 😀 It was within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. There was a handy SPAR not too far away that was open at 2am! Even though it is on a main road it was quiet in the flat. There were tea and coffee there as well as some milk. Fabulous find considering Springsteen was on and City were playing meaning all hotel prices were extortionate.

You enter the flat via an alley way which may be a little off putting if you are a solo traveller. One bed was definitely more comfortable than the other. It would have been good to have the option of dropping our bags off earlier even if we couldn't check in until 3pm. Carrying them around for 3 hours was a bit of a pain.

Apartment had not been cleaned there were watermarks from glasses everywhere, stains on the drawers and walls. The oven was filthy and the bedding had not been changed or cleaned. States on page they have iron etc but there wasn’t, no remote for tv and windows were filthy, at one point I opened it and bugs fell on me. Ten minutes after checkin went on the alleyway it is situated on and a man came running to me asking if I was waiting for drugs as this was a “drug collection point”. Wouldn’t recommend and especially wouldn’t recommend if travelling alone. Communication was poor, had to message for checkin details and was given no information regarding checkout.

Cancelled the booking with two hours notice before arrival time. Offered an alternative tbf but taking the piss given how far from manc city centre it was.locares. I would seriously consider this if you are going to booking it cost me more cash and hassle having to get another place with such little notice. Unprofessional service I can accept shit happens . a professional outfit would take the hit to offer an actual suitable alternative. Ending on a positive the flat is very keenly priced and offered excellent value for money for me. I would not have had an issue with the cancellation with more notice or location of alternative being in a similar area.

The bed was super comfortable.

It was dirty, the toilet didn't flush properly, the shower had no pressure, there were 2 dirty towels left in the bathroom and one of the bedrooms. The whole place needs some proper TLC...
