Rest & Recharge in the Northern Quarter

It was clean in the apartment, with some supplies like tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid and cloths.

It was a little intimidating walking past people stood in the doorway not sure what they were up to and door was covered in graffiti. Windows were filthy and outside ledge was filthy. Windows not double glazed therefore some noise from the street below.

The apt was in a great location, very central. The keys were easy to collect, even in the middle of the night, at a local supermarket counter. The apt was spacious.

The apt is on the first floor just above a kebab place, so there is very strong smell of fried/processed food all through the apt, especially in the kitchen, impossible to get rid of. (All our clothes smelled like fried food after a three day stay.) Two bedrooms out of three do not have windows, no fresh air, and the diner just below makes the whole apt very hot. Mid-June, with outside temperatures of 18-22 Celsius, inside it was so hot we were not able to sleep without using ventilators. One bedroom has windows but into a very busy and loud street, so we could not keep them open in the night.

The apartment had everything we needed and was very central in a lively neighbourhood. It was clean and comfortable.

It may not be ideal for solo travellers or young families, but was really buzzing Place!

Tolle Lage mitten im NQ. Sehr sauber! Bequeme Betten. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Fragen wurden sehr schnell und freundlich beantwortet. Sehr schöne Einrichtung!

Zu bemängeln gibt es eigentlich nichts. Ausser das die Zimmer keine zu öffnenden Fenster haben. Dementsprechend drückend ist die Luft. Vor allem an warmen Tagen. Es gibt Ventilatoren, aber wahnsinnig viel bringen diese nicht.

The apartment was spacious, clean and the central location meant we could walk everywhere. We were given a free early check in and late check out, the staff were so friendly and amenable.

Nothing, it was perfect for our girls weekend in Manchester.

Eravamo in 8 e c'erano solo due cialde per caffé

Northern Quarters i Manchester är livliga med många barer, restauranger, klubbar etc. Det passade oss väldigt bra eftersom det var en ren nöjesresa för vår del. Detta är andra gången jag är i Manchester på kort tid, och jag har blivit lite förtjust i den här stan.

Möjligen detta faktum att utcheckningen skulle ske redan klockan tio på förmiddagen. Det är alldeles för tidigt om man varit ute till sent om natten. Det gick att ändra utcheckningen till klockan 12, men givetvis då för en extra kostnad på 600 kronor. Det är väl saftigt, anser jag.
