Alles, was in der Unterkunftbeschreibung stand, war da. Vor dem Apartment war Möglichkeit zum Sitzen und fast den ganzen Tag gab es etwas Schatten dort

we were met by John (sorry if name is wrong), who explained how to access and the room facilities. Parking on property, cleanliness of room.

Didn't like the fact the room was in the basement, which wasn't mentioned in the room description. Kitchen was basic lacking a microwave, the bottled gas needed to be turned off after use. Bed mattress was memory foam, with no memory, the one bedside light was a bare bulb. The room felt damp but improved after heating was put on for a short while. Towels smelt of cigarette smoke but this could be the type washing product used. The location was a distance from anywhere to get an evening meal.

Best for early Etna climb, 30min by car to Rifugio Sapienza. Friendly staff, clean room, bedclothes & towels. Better inform the Staff if you want to check-in earlier/later. Suitable while traveling by car

A bit smelly from the pipes. Can be a little cold in winter days
