Being there for 3 nights and having no house keeping was a bit dissapointing.

Good location on the garden route for our 1 night stay. We did not attempt the pool because it was a chilly evening and the pool was too cold, but would’ve been nice on a warm day.

The room is slightly difficult to get to, especially if you struggle with stairs. If you like darkness in the morning, this place is not for you.

The apartment was well appointed, great sea view, I thoroughly enjoyed my swim in the pool, awesome indeed. A very well managed complex and staff were pleasant. Secure parking under shadecloth. Pleasantly situated. Very comfortable stay.

Just one thing, the pillows on the bed were so heavily perfumed despite putting a towel over them. Just an observation, quite a few places we have stayed at do not have a top sheet and a duvet is sometimes too hot ... just thought to mention. We have made a mental note to travel with a top sheet in the future. If one is bothered by traffic then being close to a main road is a consideration.

The Nautica building was not well designed. The parking is very far from the accommodation, the access is via a narrow passage making it difficult to carry bags. It's like the architect had an idea of how it must look with no though of how it will work. I've stayed is all the Nautica rooms listed on Bookings.com now, and it's not the room or the host, it's the building itself that was just poorly designed. Will I stay again, absolutely, will I be frustrated by the stupid design long walks to the car and randomly layed our light switches, you bet! 🤷🏼‍♂️ It is what it is now so just enjoy the view and keep on moving forward... Hopefully there is never a need for an emergency evacuation of Nautica because moving from apartment to parking in ordenary circumstances is not a quick transition.
