Your Downtown Rapid City Base Camp!

The apartment was large and well appointed with high ceilings and many convenient amenities. There was a popular ice cream place at the corner.

The apartment had a vacant lot behind us, an alley beside us and the car park for the apartments in front so although there were numerous windows we did not feel comfortable opening the blinds completely to allow natural light in. There were people sleeping under the trees a street over from where we were staying. Superficially the cleaning looked good but we found the dishwasher had not cleaned the dishes very well and we had to redo all those.

This is the 2nd time staying at this property and it has all that you need, clean and comfortable . We come to Hills Alive every year and this will always be are first choice to stay.

Nothing it was great

access with door code was a breeze / communications beforehand was really good / location is good (shops are close-by and there is an ice cream parlour next door) / reserved parking spot for one car / apartment has all appliances / check-out was a breeze as well

communication after check-in was none exciting (we kindly asked for something and just got ignored) / apartment 8 has windows on the long side of the building and therefore more light, which is pleasant during the day. however at night the bright security light of the neighbouring building falls into the bedroom and there are no blackout blinds or curtains / proximity to the train tracks means you get to enjoy the honking every time a freight train makes its way though town

Love the setup, colors, and decor! Super cute place a lot to offer for such a great price. Was very clean and inviting. Had a list of places to visit or to get a meal. Loved the parking ( took a trip to find how to get to the covered parking). Washer and dryer if you need, kitchen with various utensils if you need,stove, oven, microwave and full size fridge, extra bedding and a couch pull out bed. Loved that we were sent a code for the door rather than trying to remember a key!! Will absolutely stay again thr next time we are that way!

Was a tad cold in the front room, but turned the heat up a couple degrees and closed the blinds, and it was much more comfortable. Near train tracks, so was a little noisy briefly, but not bad at all. Seemed like there were a handful of homeless around. The bed was very firm, and the pillows were super fluffy. Overall, loved our stay and will absolutely be back!

Location was fantastic! The space was huge and very comfortable! The washer and dryer were a plus!
