Modern Luxury Apartment - Ocean & Mountain Views

This property was beautiful, in a quiet area, and a quick 10 minute drive to the city center. The place itself was very clean, comfortable and the views are amazing. This is also in walking distance to a Bonus, coffee shop and a burger place. I highly recommend booking this place if you’re looking! The owners also provided us with a very helpful email on the basics of the house.

Schöne große Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick. Tolle Lage für alle Ausflüge und familienfreundlich. Die Wohnung hatte eine Waschmaschine, das war großartig. Die Küche war super ausgestattet.

Temperaturregelung der Heizung funktioniert nicht wirklich. Ohne Sonne wäre die Wohnung recht kühl gewesen.

The apartment is very beautiful. It is as large as the photos show. The kitchen is, for the most part, well stocked. The washroom is huge, with an amazing shower. The beds are comfortable. There is a washer and dryer in a separate room. Parking is provided. The view was spectacular. The location is good, easy to access the main roads into the older parts of the city and for longer excursions in Iceland.

There are no blackout blinds or curtains on any of the windows. The rooms were never truly dark, even in the middle of the night, due to the poor window coverings. This made sleep quite difficult. In the middle of the winter, this would obviously not be an issue but in early July, this is a real problem. There is no real coffee maker, a simple drip style or one that uses pods, in the kitchen. There is a fancy espresso machine with no instructions and a couple coffee pots that make percolated coffee, if you know how to use them. There is no microwave oven. We did not use the soda stream so cannot comment if it works or not. There is no iron or ironing board. There is no television. We did not travel with laptops so did not have the technology to connect to the speaker system. The outdoor patio has no furniture and needs weeding. The apartment could be a totally amazing place to stay if only a few of these items were included, especially being able to cut the daylight at night. The road next to the building can be quite noisy, but seemed to quiet down at night.

Det ville have været rart med nogle vejledninger til: - Affaldssortering, - Brug af kaffemaskinen, som vi måtte opgive at bruge, da den sagde 'Clean me', - Varmeregulering - der var koldt i lejligheden Patronen i sodastreameren var tom, så den blev ikke brugt
