The annex at 44 Belvidere Road

The location ,the area .It was very clean too and well equipped. The owner carol _anne introduced herself to us not long after we arrived.She seemed very nice and left us to our own devices .The bedding was clean and fresh and there were pillow protectors which I like .All mod cons clean towels even hand soap and shampoo was provided .

The sofa was very low and uncomfortable to sit on.The bed was very low and not that comfortable .There was a large dog next door that barcked loudly ...not for long but frightened me as didn't expect it ! Could hear the owners next-door walking around upstairs and sometimes could hear them talking .Also heard them having a shower /bath and flushing the loo .The annexe is joined on to the main house ,so although it is a separate door way and gate to enter it is all one house with a dividing wall .The kitchen windows are frosted and the bedroom ..which I didn't like and the main lounge window has no privacy just curtains .The people over the road could see us and we could see them ,a blind or a voile of some description would of been nice .Otherwise very pleasant.

Had everything needed.

Kettle and toaster were of budget quality-but they worked!

Very clean, functional, and good location for us.

Lacked a little character and atmosphere.

None negotiable check out time

Very clean and very comfortable bed washing machine cooker fridge coffee tea and sugar

Only the distance into town ok but if your less mobile it's a bit of a walk but in the week there are buses just around the corner but they don't run in Sundays

I would have preferred a later check out than 10am. This is sometimes possible bite not when new guests are arriving.

Host was lovely. She has made up the bed for our boy. Spotlessly clean. I would definitely book again
