2 Argyle House

Location was perfect. Very comfortable stay for a couple. Kitchen well equipped.

Sofa and chairs in lounge were on the small side. TV can’t play BBC iPlayer or Netflix.

Location fantastic, apartment extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. View exceptional.

Steps up to property a little difficult to navigate , especially when holding baggage. No onsite , private parking.

Outstanding best view of the bay. All facilities were there plus more. If I was picky the garden could be more looked after but did not effect are wonderful stay.

A little tlc with outside balcony but still amazing

Everything was well equipped! Attention to detail with entertainment for rainy days eg games dvds etc! The views are amazing even in the rain! Close to amenities and wonderful restaurants and bars. Comfy cosy and compact! Does what it says on the tin! Definitely return!

Nothing to dislike Was a great property

Great location especially out of season as it’s a busy bit of Lyme. Good facilities and provisions provided, although a cheap kettle that has never have passed any pouring tests! and one hob not working were irritating details. I’d advise a safety improvement to the step up to the back area from sitting and bedroom areas, as it’s hard to see the dark step, particularly in low light and it’s very hard on the toes…@ Otherwise the location and balcony in good weather make it special. Just so anybody relevant knows- Parking for vehicles over 4.8M is a nightmare in Lyme, especially if they are deemed - motorhomes and as pointed out in the details no parking is available at the property.

Great location, very comfortable and cosy. Wonderful sea views from the balcony and bedroom, as well as the dining area.

Overall we loved it, but a few things felt that they could be updated at very little expense, given the premium price of the property. For example the kettle pours badly, and the hairdryer is hardly worth using. The tv system and fire were a bit cranky to use but obviously those would require more investment

We have stayed at 2, Argyle House on numerous occasions over the last few years and the location is lovely.

This visit was marred by a fly infestation,mainly in the kitchen/dining area. Also on arrival the hot water tank was broken! We were offered a partial refund we we accepted but unfortunately as of yet, have not received!

Perfect romantic location

TV remotes didn’t work. Being asked to strip beds and place in bags, towels also, felt a bit strange. Plus taking out your own rubbish, never heard of before.

Amazing location and perfect for what we needed. Immaculately clean, lovely welcome pack, and an amazing terrace

Smallest complaint ever, but the kettle was very “leaky”. More water ends up on the worktop than in the mug. Other than that, it really was perfect
