The old but modern features in the old house. Felt very posh which we liked.

No curtains covering big windows in the lounge/dining. Wooden shutters covering window in bedroom but easily opened one night somehow…… Parking, be good to have those loading zones reserved for clients even at a price that’s cheaper then parking in town and don’t have to walk up big hill.

Michael is the perfect host, the apartment is beautiful, Michael gave us recommendations for local restaurants which we tried and they didn't disappoint. The apartment is in the best location to explore both sides of the river located right next to the town centre and Severn.

Keys were located in a secure lockbox at the front door, and the code was sent to us prior to arrival.

The door handle to the flat is loose and caused us a little concern over whether it would lock properly at night. It rattles and feels very loose in the hand. The latch is also loose and at one point the handle of the snib came off and fell to the floor. There is a lug that needs to be tightened to secure the snib. The entry in Booking.com states that parking is close by, which is it. however it is also £2 per hour between 8am-6pm, so if your planning on leaving your car parked; as we did, and walk around Shrewsbury, you may need to take into account another £20 per day for parking. There is a cheaper option, however it is 15-20 minutes walk away from the property, so beware if you are unable to walk far.

There was nothing i didn't like .

Great location in Shrewsbury. Close to the centre of everything. Loved the shower and how spacious it was. Loved how we could get into the room early instead of 2/3pm like a lot of places

Door knobs did come off. Not something I was bothered about but I know it would some people. Maybe some shower gel and tea&coffee aswell would be nice for guests

Property was well located. Although no parking at the property, we were able to unload right outside and there was ample parking nearby. Very spaciosus apartment with everything you need for a short/long stay. Would definately stay again.

Fantastic spacious property, wonderful period features with lovely big windows and high ceilings. Excellent location. The open-plan living room / kitchen is a great room to relax in.

A coffee machine would have been a great addition.
