Kavoulakos Studios

Great place for a few quiet days at the beach. Very nice studio with a beautiful view of the sea from the terrace. Fantastic beach access, through a nice garden then you're at the beach. Beach was very quiet (in June), but busier at the weekend. Big fridge and reasonably well equipped kitchen to prepare breakfast and basic meals. Our terrace was shady all day so perfect for al fresco eating. Nice taverna on the beach.

It's isolated. One mini market in skoutari, which is a short walk away (less than 10 minutes) but it's a very steep uphill walk, and the shop is VERY basic, even by basic Greek minimarket standards. Nearest supermarket is 20 minutes away in Gytheio. So shop for anything you need before you arrive! There are 3 taverna within walking distance but all have a rather limited menu.

Perfect stay, very nice location, just a few meters from the beach, Annastasia the owner is a sweetheart, she has a wonderful colorful garden where you can really unwind!

Kavoulakos Studios are in a lovely beachside location near the small village of Skoutari. The owner, Anastasia is very friendly, informative and helpful. There is a beautiful garden with outdoor seating. The accommodation offers very good value and has everything you need, Each apartment with a private balcony overlooking the garden and the sea beyond. Skoutari is not a resort village, but if a great beach and scenery, two excellent nearby beachside tavernas and a village shop are enough for you this place is idyllic and absolutely perfect! (Nearby Gythio offers further facilities)

The rooms are ok, but there is not any photo of the building, and there is a good reason for that.  I would not suggest booking it, as long as they don't add clear photos of the main building  from both sides, so you will have no surprises.  The garden photos are nice and green but were taken in the winter time. No one can really sit in the garden in the summer time since it is hot and ...dry.  I am sorry to write it here, since the people are nice however sadly this is the true.
