Soulshine Beachside Penthouse

The patio windows opened wide to let the sea breeze flow into the unit and the couch was perfectly situated for a nap in the sun’s rays. The patio overlooked one of the beaches and it was only a short walk to the shore that wasn’t overrun with people. Beds were quite comfortable which was a surprise as most hotels and Airbnbs in Australia seem to always have rock hard mattresses. Gated garage was also nice for security.

Stove took a few minutes to learn how to use. The manager left directions but they didn’t fully align with reality. Something that was neutral for us but could matter to others is that the garage is down a fairly short but steep drive with a sharp turn in and that you have to walk up that and up a flight of stairs to gain entry to the unit.

Wonderful location with well equipped kitchen and seating arrangements. Easy walk to the beach. Great for relaxation and to spoil yourself.

Everything was fabulous. Best view ever and so close to the beach.

Location was excellent. Host was great. Unit was clean and comfy. Would happily stay again.

Great little apartment right next to the beach. Loved the terrace & the view was amazing! Quiet area & short drive to the Bay.

Couldn’t fine an ash pan and broom , vacuum cleaner was a shocker in such a nice penthouse

It's truly bewildering dealing with the host. We paid for the entire house, and as only two guests, it seems reasonable to expect the option of having one bed each. The house has made unreasonable demands, asking for an additional cleaning fee even though we've already done our best to leave it in a simple and tidy condition upon departure. Staining a towel during normal use is inevitable, and a professional cleaning fee should cover such minor issues easily addressed with bleach. Given these experiences, we strongly do not recommend this property.
