We all loved the old farmhouse vibe. Fabulous kitchen where everyone could gather around the table and make memories. Beautiful bathrooms and as the house had recently been renovated, the decor and furniture was gorgeous. Anke was lovely. She goes the extra mile for her guests. Rusks, spices, bottled water in the kitchen, and tons of firewood, with firelighters and matches. Weather wasn't good while we were there with small kiddies, but they were never bored as the house has a piano they could play on, table tennis and tons of games.

We arrived during a storm and the access road was bad as a result. There are 3 beautiful bathrooms, but only one is en-suite. The others are quite far from the bedrooms, except for one which is next door to one of the bedrooms. This is typical of farm houses from way back, so it all added to the charm actually. First night we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. We had left windows open as it was hot and humid and the house has no fans or aircon. I'd advise anyone to take Tabbard and Peaceful Sleep roomspray. Some of the walkway paths were overgrown but owner said it would be cleared for next guests.

Beautiful big property with a very homely feel! We loved our stay here and it's ideal for a family stay or big group.
