Blue Mountain Farm Lodge, Farm & Dam House

Nothing. I did not like anything. Disappointing and deceptive .

Upon arrival we were met by a dirty entrance. The patio was not swept, lots of cobwebs and the outside chairs and table were dusty and sticky .The inside is run down. The main rooms light shade was missing, taps in bathroom were broken. Lots of holes in the walls. They advertised things that were not in the apartment. Toaster, coffee maker, coffee tea milk and sugar. There were no toiletries as advertised. There is only one bathroom but they advertised two . Not even hand wash. In a nutshell the place is not maintained. The furniture in the TV room is broken, dirty and smelly. There were no bins in the toilet and bed rooms. They also did not provide us with clean towels for the next day. It lacks that personal touch.

Near hiking trails

To run out everytime we whanted hot water to the gasgeyser to swithc it on.

Better wifi signal

Clean comfortable spacious house. Beautiful views and sheep in garden. No TV or Wi-Fi

Not enough coffee cups in kitchen. No wine glasses. Gass bottle in open kitchen cupboard?? Lots of stuff standing around outside house at entrance and other people's washing hanging over the fence.

The Dam House was very clean, comfortable and rustic. The value for money was excellent.

A bit more attention should be paid to the cutlery and crockery provided. A few more pictures on the walls would have enhanced the feel of the house. While the house was very clean, the outside area was a bit neglected and some cushions for the outside chairs would be nice. The Booking,com website does not show any pictures of the dam house so although it was a surprise on arrival, it was not an unpleasant surprise.
