Number 10, Montpellier Apartments, Teignmouth

The location was perfect, just near the train station to explore other parts of Devon. Set up on a slight hill the views from the apartment were stunning. We travelled to Devon by car and parking was important when choosing where to stay. A parking place was allocated to each apartment and they are numbered bays so it was very easy to find. The apartment was modern and comfortable and very spacious for two adults. Thank you to our hosts who had left us a few treats on our arrival.

The apartment was a lovely albeit a little hot most of the time.

The hosts provided a warm welcome with a curated Devon cream tea and immediate resolve on the occasion we needed help with a flickering lightbulb and - of all things! - a pair of scissors :-) As we were four adults (albeit two of them so-called 'young adults' ;-) ) it was lovely to have a proper sofa to sit in rather than a two-seater (that we have, on occasion, squeezed three into ahem, ahem) and an armchair that some other properties we have stayed in have offered.

It is all personal, init? Being of the so-called 'a certain age', we would appreciate either net curtains or blinds behind the black-out curtains in the bedrooms so that privacy can be offered/guaranteed without the curtains needing to be shut thus the room being dark/ceiling light needing to be on. For someone else, this will be no issue at all so it is not really about it being negative, it is about how we are all different :-)

Second stay at this lovely apartment. Very clean and comfy, well appointed with great views!
