Casa kattleya

Casa Kattleya is located in the heart of Tortuguero village, just a short walk from the main harbor and the beach, nestled among local homes—a truly authentic Costa Rican experience. It’s within walking distance of restaurants, the entrance to Tortuguero National Park, and the Sea Turtle Conservancy Visitor Center. The house was very clean and matched the photos perfectly. We were warmly welcomed by the host at La Pavona harbor, who personally guided us to the house. The air conditioning was a big plus, and communication with the host was fast and very helpful throughout our stay.

The sofa was not very comfortable.

Plumbing can be improved

House is minutes away from the beach, and 3 minutes from the town centre. Kitchen was well equipped with even a rice cooker. Wifi was good, and TV worked great.

Great location. Right near the supermarket. 1 min walk to the beach. Cafes 1 to 2 mins walk. It was clean and comfortable. Keeler, the owner, was very helpful with everything. He recommend cafes, tours and shops to visit. He was very quick with responding on whatsapp.

Its location was fantastic and we enjoyed having the kitchen (use of the coffee machine) and the seating area.

Nowhere to sit outside but it wasn’t really a problem as we were very busy

Good location right in the centre of Tortuguero and extremely friendly hosts. Very close to the beach. Very clear and detailed communication. The guides which were recommended by the hosts were really good. Loved the turtle tour and canoe tour. Must do while you are there!

The matrasses on the beds were extremely hard. The property was clean but you can already see a bit wear and tear.
