A beautiful apartment overlooking Serpentine River, located in a very quiet neighbourhood in Wilderness. All amenities were provided for, as well as beautifully appointed kitchen. King size bed very comfortable. Resource books on the area, as well as for bird watching, books of historical interest. We very much enjoyed our stay at 677 on Lake road.

The apartment is spacious, well equipped, beautifully decorated and with a spectacular view of the lake. The hostess greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This apartment was very comfortable and peaceful. We were fortunate to have the second bedroom as a place to open our suitcases and access our belongings. Lovely view over the lake reeds. Great shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. The kitchen was well set up for cooking, although the back burner on the two burner gas stove did not function properly. Even a very tiny dish washer.

The owner seemed very strict with the "time" of arriving and departing. More flexibility for international travelers would fit well in the Buddhist tradition set forth in the furnishings.

Very peaceful and quiet location. Amazing to be able to open up the bifold doors fully and appreciate the view. Comfortable beds, hot showers and a really helpful host. Really nice touch that coffee/tea etc provided. Priscilla was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure we could access activities when our SIM cards weren’t able to call SA numbers - we really thought she was a great host!

Slightly further from the central restaurants of Wilderness but a very short drive, and this is clear on booking and worth it for the peace and quiet.
