Whitstable, DP42, 2 bed park home, Alberta Holiday Park

The location was just beautiful. Facilities were good, but expected more in the room

Heating was not proper sometimes. Couldn't find extra bin and toilet tissues. No sugar and no salt

All grassed areas had just been cut and it was flooded. Not a good experience

The location for access to Whitstable was excellent. Even taking a taxi into town was reasonable (£7) - 08/12/2025

The camp drainage isn't brilliant - very muddy accessing the caravan.

It was hard work getting into the caravan. Driving 365 miles down to the site was tiring. It took us nearly two hours to get into the caravan. Tom I think the owner answered the phone when we first got there. We were given the wrong key code to get into the caravan and trying to ring and get through to that number after that was hard work. He wouldn't answer even though I told him I had children with me. I eventually found txts from him giving the new key code and saying he couldn't answer the phone. We were all cold. When we got in the caravan it was freezing and all the beds were seriously damp. There were no instructions saying where to turn the heating on. I have copd and have come back with a bad chest infection. My 12 years old twin Granddaughters are asthmatic too. It was freezing in there. We'd never be going there again the only good about it was that it was all clean

The cold and dampness in every room. The windowsill in the living was wet when I opened the curtains in the morning. Not having anyone on hand to help us. And not having the proper key number to get in.
