Akis Garden

This is a really lovely apartment. Very good size and very well equipped. It's the sort of place that leaves salt/pepper/olive oil available so you dont have to buy those basics if cooking. It's not one of those bland places where everything is brand new but soulless. Garden was so lovely. Our flight was a little delayed (very handy for walk to airport) and they were happy to let us sit in the garden after check out - even moving the table and chairs to be in the shade.

Easy and safe walk from the airport. Regular and helpful communication. There was a bottle of water waiting for me in the fridge and Aki offered me fresh eggs and a cucumber from the garden in the morning!

I only stayed one night. Facilties were a bit basic for a longer stay

The house was clean and comfortable. There were all commodities needed for a great experience on the island. The owner was really nice. He gave us water and fresh veggies from his garden. It was so sweet 😍

Perfect hospitality, great location, close to the airport, cozy atmosphere. The apartment itself is not new, but perfectly clean, everything you need is available. Thank you for the little gift for the child

We had a morning flight. There was no water until 4 am

Everyone who visits Corfu/Greece should stay here. We were in Corfu for a week and then we went over to northern Greece for three weeks. The people of Corfu were the friendliest. Maybe some of the friendliest I've met. Mr Akis is up there with the best. Here you will see what it's really like to live here. A friendly old neighbour poped over to sit next to us in the little garden with her cigar. Couldn't speak a word of English, didn't overstay her welcome, just sat there for a while then went on her way. We gave Mr Akis our left over Coffee, soap powder, butter etc. and he wanted to invite us to eat with him in return. He brought over some cake his wife had made that day and a few fruits from his garden. He even gave us a lift to the airport in the morning as we were leaving quite early. The apartment is in an old house which is super super clean and not in the slightest musty or damp. Seems to be well equipped but we didn't even have breakfast as we had to leave early. As I said you must stay here it's a lovely experience.

It was close to the airport. We would recommend getting a taxi especially at night. Approx. Cost 15euro.

There was a powercut in the morning ,so we were unable to have a shower or use the cooker. Mr.Akis provided us with a gas ring for making tea.
