Most. Dog hair on the new sheets, human hair under the duvet and pillow covers, some lil rodent in the roof (like between the inner ceiling and the outer tiles) being rlly loud at midnight like bruh lemme sleep.

Location is lovely, landlady Kay friendly and very helpful. Pod very clean and well-providioned with cooking and eating essentials.

There's nothing not to like. Fridge could perhaps be a little larger. It's snug.

No Telly

Booked a 2 night stay at the Isla pod in the middle of July. The pod was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a Glamping weekend. There was a mini-fridge, cool box, toaster, kettle, microwave, 2 ring hob, plenty crockery/plates/glasses etc. Towels and bed linen were provided alongside hand soap/toilet roll/dish soap and sponge. We had a fantastic stay and Kay was very friendly and welcoming providing all the information needed before arrival as well as answering my numerous questions. She made us aware she was there and should we need her, where to find her without being over bearing and interrupting. The pod was warm and comfortable and we had a lovely time by the fire pit on the Friday, went round walking in the local area the Saturday before sitting peacefully listening to the rain in the cosy comfort in the evening. The area is extremely limited regarding phone signal but the peace and quiet was a dream - spent a nice time breathing in the fresh air and listening to the sounds of the animals nearby. Points to note: If you're a light sleeper the pod gets quite bright in the morning if the sun is out. If using the fire pit you must provide your own firewood. There are numerous farms around the area which have animals to be spotted if you're in the right place. Well equipped with everything needed as long as you keep mind this is not a hotel but an elevated camping experience. Kay was a wonderful host and we had the best weekend spent relaxing and enjoying the quiet. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

Me, my partner and our dog visited the Isla pod for 2 nights over the weekend and it was such a relaxing time. It was very cosy, the small kitchen area was a great help especially since you are quite far away from the nearest takeouts etc. Kay was so helpful and left a little folder full of maps and different resources such as a taxi number and the local chippy/Chinese takeaway information. There is no wifi or a lot of signal in the area so going on social media and receiving texts/calls may be difficult (which we were looking for) however there are board games under the bed to keep you entertained! The pods are also equipped with a cool box and a mini fridge if you’re bringing your own food/drinks and also a heater which is extremely fast at heating up the pod so doesn’t need to be on for long at all! Over all such a fantastic place and would visit again (in a less rainy month) so we have the use of the firepit and bbq!

The main part of the pod was always warm even without the heater that was left it kept the heat in and the cold out

only bit I hated was having to go to the colder end of the pic for the toilet

Lovely views, very dog friendly and the owner is such a lovely lady! lovely to chat to and very helpful. Very clean and cosy.
