Review for Bainsview Olive and Guest Farm We had the pleasure of staying at Bainsview Olive and Guest Farm with our daughters for a relaxing two days, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The house offers generous space and beautifully decorated bedrooms nestled beneath a massive yellowwood tree that provides incredible shade during the hot summer days. The swimming pool was perfect for cooling off, and the surroundings — framed by majestic mountains — created such a peaceful, scenic atmosphere. The accommodation itself was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The pillows were top-notch, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and each room had a lovely, well-appointed bathroom. The hosts went above and beyond, providing thoughtful extras that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Bainsview Olive and Guest Farm is a truly beautiful, relaxed place — ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature in comfort. Highly recommended!

Well located at the start of the Bains Kloof pass. Peaceful surroundings on a small olive farm. Spacious cottage with a swimming pool, braai and hot tub.

There are several cottages. Ours was positioned at the back of the property with limited views of the valley/mountains which was a disappointment for us based on the listing pictures. The main bed was not comfortable. We also had a family of mice in the roof which disturbed our sleep. The owner was very quick to respond and the mice are unlikely to bother future visitors.

One of our best stays in South Africa. Ansie was fantastic, accommodating us with a very late check in after an international flight. She was so friendly and helpful. The property was prestine. My favorite part was the hottub and the indoor fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils. The views are spectacular!

Everything was great , everything you need to feel at home but yet feeling like a get away , they cater for all your essentials the place is amazing so clean , neat and tidy spacious and comfortable

Yellow is cottage is the only cottage that does not have a hot tub so please cater to getting warm water for the splash pool as there is so little one can as family guests especially for kids also a park would be beneficial but more the the the pool it’s genuinely nice and private however it so cold regardless of how hot it is bc of the trees providing shade which is amazing but but coming on holiday and not being able to enjoy the star of the show so suggest a hot tub added or warm water pool as so all guest can experience the best and not only certain cottages gaining extraordinary treatment g

The pool was very nice, it was the perfect size and luckily for us the weather was great, the hot tub came in handy as the night got colder. Overall the view was the best and the privacy we had. I'm recommending this place to anyone that needs a break and we will definitely come again.

There were no ashtrays outside for smokers and no microvawe plate cover, so when heating up food it will splatter all over the microvawe so you end up cleaning it multiple times.
