Beautiful apartment, the view is spectacular!

Spotlessly clean, very spacious apartment with well kitted out kitchen and a huge verandah and great view of surrounding mountains. Good communication from host

Property could be better marked for visitors arriving late at night as I did. I found the bed quite uncomfortable and sound insulation wasn’t great. Bedroom could do with better curtains to block out light. Property is 20-25 min walk from train station

Facilities were excellent

Difficult key pick up - owner was not at the property when I arrived.

The view from our terrazo was exquisite and the kitchen was very functional. Our host helped us overcome some challenges caused by our own lack of language facility and lack of preparedness, throughout the trip

No one spoke English including our host. When we got there it was pouring rain and we didn't have umbrellas. The polizia called a taxi for us but it never came. A friend of the polizia showed up and agreed to drive us to La Palma. The kitchen in our suite was not stocked with anything at all: not even paper towels, napkins, salt or pepper. It was extremely dangerous and too far to walk back to town to get food though the host made it sound like it was easy so we were walking in the rain for hours fearing we would get hit by a car any second. We finally went back and begged the host to order a pizza to be delivered to us. At first he kept telling us to do it ourselves but we didn't have the language skills. He finally did it for us. The bed was very uncomfortable. The next morning we got our host to call us a taxi. The person who picked us up was not a taxi. We suspect he was the son of a friend of the host. He was very kind but, like the other drivers in Domodossola, drove extremely fast through the narrow streets. Once he picked us up and took us to a supermarket (where we were able to stock the kitchen ourselves) we kept arranging pick ups with him for the rest of the trip so we were able to start having a better time.

Very comfortable and clean and roomy our host were superb and Vincenzo drove us to the train when we left.
