AUIt was the most outrageous property - located in the gunpowder store for the old fortifications of the Dutch waterline defence. The underfloor heating was divine we felt so comfortable. The town was very special so different to other parts of the Netherlands, a real fort with a castle a short ferry hop away. The bed was comfortable, there were excellent cooking facilities and we brought our bikes inside. People stopped to look as we came in our special hobbit door.

GBThe property was really quirky in a lovely spot by canals and a windmill. Bikes to hire for free (although they take a little getting used too !) chairs and table outside was lovely. Really easy check in and check out .
Unfortunately we left a day early, as we didn’t find the place very comfortable and found it very dark. Perhaps better for 1 night stay in the warmer brighter months!! There was also quite a few spiders due to the nature of the property. Responses to emails took quite a long time .
USIt was such a unique experience, the village was great. The accommodations were amazing, nice people and nice places to eat.
I didn't like my stay being so short. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The shower was extremely hot, in fact so hot it felt very uncomfortable. Although there was a sofa & 2 kitchen stools, they where not comfortable to sit on for the evening. The space outside the door is a car park, although there is a small area to sit down.
