Didn’t feel like I was in the basement- it has an amazing view. The bathroom ( including the great shower) is spacious. Bed comfortable and is a recliner. Very clean. About 15 minute walk to town. Owner checked in with us and sent contact details. Easy to use appliances

Could use a few more kitchen utensils- small bowls, egg flipper. I didn’t use washing machine but have to pay to use.

A charming, well-appointed, clean, modern "basement" apartment. The "basement" part is immaterial, except for carrying your luggage down about 10 steps to the door. Otherwise, one would not think you were in a basement. The furniture, appliances, cookware, bathroom fixtures, etc. are all top-of-the line. The bed is a recliner. The owner (who lives upstairs) greeted us & presented a walk-thru. The only accommodation we rented which provided *free* movie streaming services.

Despite its address, the house/apartment is NOT on Hagatun. It is on Romsdalsvegen, and Romsdalsvegen has an island (divider) between its lanes. It is on the southern (eastbound) side of Romsdalsvegen. "9B" is on the house, though, to help you find it. This is VERY confusing, and we drove around for 15 minutes before finally asking a neighbor. So, don't trust your mapping program 100% -- use the above description and you'll be fine. The picture on Booking.com is of the *front* of the house, and you can use it to find the house on eastbound Romsdalsvegen. Other notes: the washer & dryer are not free to use. They cost $7 each; $14 for one load of laundry. The WiFi router is only broadcasting its signal at 5 GHz, not both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. If you have an older phone which can't access 5 GHz signals, you won't have WiFi.

Absolutely fantastic overnight stay! Comfortable and well equipped. Fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. Ideal to do a load of laundry. The bed was adjustable and very comfy.

Perhaps not be able to sit outside for a bit.

Layout, cleanliness, location. Very updated space with thoughtful design. Super comfy bed, great in room laundry.
